Andrea Cammilleri is a Consultant for All Children Thrive based in Madison, Wisconsin (USA). She has compiled a portfolio of experiences working with state and local governments, non-profits, school districts, and many other connected partners in the public and private sectors. Since 2020, Andrea has collaborated inside and outside of government to align strategy and funding opportunities with communities’ and states’ strategic goals for children and families. She held a leadership role on Wisconsin’s Preschool Development Grant and guided various equity-, workforce-, and parent-focused initiatives while striving to shore up the early care and education business model statewide. She has led substantial communications/outreach, translation, and design work in every role she has held and always embraces the opportunity to leverage those skills in her beloved field of early care and education and family support.
Previously, Andrea spent 13 years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison developing standards and professional learning opportunities at WIDA, a 41-state consortium focused on PreK-12 multilingual learner education. Early in her career, she worked in health care as a translator/ liaison to the Latinx community and as a middle school Spanish teacher. She is proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Wisconsin's Celebrate Children Foundation and is a volunteer co-facilitator of Madison’s chapter of Chamber of Mothers.
